Hello all.

Thu Jan 5, 2006, 9:10 PM
I just wanted to let everyone know what's up. Basically, back in August I went home for a short bit over summer break (See my journal "The next few weeks..." for more detail on that). And while there some shit went down between me and my family that caused me to start to sort through the issues that have built up over the course of my life.
As time went by this past semester, I began to get more and more stressed due to the stuff I was and am going through. The large amount of school work did not help my stress level. And I had to cut back on some of my hobbies and pasttimes in order to have time to deal with what I needed to deal with and to attempt to get my homework done.
I barely managed to pass the semester. But on a more positive note, I have sorted through my issues enough so that while I have not completely dealt with them, I can put them aside for when I need to take care of my other responsiblities. In addition to that, I will again be able to do things like my writings, drawings, and sprite comics as a way to relax. I was unable to do this regularly the past few months simply because of the colossal amount of shit I was dealing with.
So yes, it is official, my comics are not dead, nor are my other artistic endeavors. I hope to have something new for you all soon. Thank you for your support and patience.

You think I think an artist’s job is to speak the truth. An artist’s job is to captivate you for however long we’ve asked for your attention. If we’ve stumbled into truth we got lucky.

Kairi sat up suddenly. “Where the fuck am I?”
“Go to sleep, bitch,” Axel yelled. She fell back down.

I have 9 pages of my Megaman comic done so far. I'll post more as I finish them...I'm kinda stuck right now unfortunetly. I'm also working on a sprite comic using sprites from the Super Nintendo game 'Secret of Mana'
:iconschwarzd354:
Anyone know how to spread the word that there is work on my page? Or is it just word of mouth?
:iconsailortitan:
For better or worse, the generally recognized best way of getting hits to your page is so-called "comment whoring". Which meants comment. A lot. A whole lot. That brings a lot more people to your page.
